About Me

I hold a Masters Degree in Counselling and I am a Registered Clinical Counselling (#19077) with The BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). I believe in life long learning, and continue to explore different therapeutic methods through course work, reading, and clinical supervision. Prior to becoming a therapist I worked in community and in-patient mental health settings. While completing my Masters degree I worked in VCH's internal EFAP supporting health care professionals and leadership teams in understanding critical incident stress and its impacts on staff.

I have a passion for working with health care professionals, paramedics and fire fighters and helping them manage the competing demands of life and work, burn out, compassion fatigue, and the impacts of trauma both professional and personal and how they intersect.

I grew up in BC and have always loved being by the water, whether its the ocean or one of BC's beautiful lakes. In my spare time I enjoy being with family and friends, attending concerts, live theater, and sporting events, and I have been known to enjoy a good Netflix binge during the rainy months.

I feel honored to be part of peoples journeys and healing, and welcome any questions you may have about myself or any of the methods and approaches I use.
